On May 5, 2008, Pass Christian Rotary Club celebrated its 84th birthday-foundation.  During the event three local people were honored for their good works, akin to Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self:"

The award winners were:

Firefighter, Ike Stapleton, City Employee of the Year - Pass Christian Mayor Chipper McDermott presented the award to Ike.

Right, Caroline Williams received Rotary's Scholarship award. District Governor Milton Wheeler presented the award to Caroline, a graduating senior at Pass Christian High School.

Left, Rotary also honored Melissa Harris as Teacher of the Year. District Governor Wheeler presenting.
